How I lost 5 lbs before my wedding?

Like most grooms, on my wedding day I wanted to look my best. My wedding was scheduled for Valentines Day of this year, so I only had ten weeks to get rid of that holiday fat that comes along with all of the traditional Yule tide deliciousness. I needed to think fast, but because of the long hours I work it is difficult to get to the gym on a daily basis. I decided to think small. Every morning I would usually stop for a coffee on my way to work. I cut this out completely and switched to a cup of tea with no sugar. Also, I made a point of it to eat a bowl of oatmeal each morning for breakfast.

I can’t be quite sure if it was my minor diet change or the tradition pre-wedding jitters, but I dropped 10 lbs in the weeks before the wedding. It was tough to be all that unhealthy with the constant running around close to the wedding day. I think everyone involved lost a few lbs those last couple days. Luckily for my tailor the lbs have decided to come back with interest.
